netCentrix - netCache: Item Correllation Engine
netCache includes an advanced Item Correllation Engine to automatically calculate top selling items within various parts of your site as well as to calculate sales of product combinations to determine product affinity across the site.
netCache automatically calculates the top selling items for the entire site and across categories throughout the site. The resulting data can be used to populate "Top Seller" portions of the site at any level within the site. The data may also be used for marketing analysis in preparing future promotions.
netCache uses these results to derrive product affinity relationships. These results can be used on the site to drive cross sell and upsell recommendations, and can also populate "peer recommendations" or "other customers who bought this item also bought ...".
