netCache synchronizes data with Escalate (Ecometry), but maintains a fully independent dataset so that your web site's performance and availability are not affected by your Escalate (Ecometry) system's performance.
netCache serves all site content and completes all phases of the checkout process, and only looks to Ecometry to hand off a fully completed order. In the event that Ecometry is not available, netCache simply queues the orders until Ecometry becomes available again.
