In Stock Notification Engine
Some clients opt to sell inventory into back order status, but others may choose to only sell on hand inventory. For those clients, being able to notify customers when an item becomes available might be a difficult proposition.
However, with netCache, you can choose to provide your customer with an option to be notified when the out of stock item becomes available. At the item level, the site would provide an option to be notified when the item becomes available. The customer provides an email address, and netCache handles the rest.
Because netCache has full access to inventory status, as soon as the item becomes available again, netCache is able to send an email to the customer, and includes a direct link back to the product page.
Email-a-Friend
netCache sites include functionality on each product page to allow the shopper to email the page link to a friend.
