netCentrix - netCache: Wish List / Gift Registry
netCache offers a complete, stand-alone Wish List/ Gift Registry module. Customers can shop the site and add items to a wish list or registry as easily as adding them to the shopping cart.
Once a wish list or registry has been setup, the creator can use the Notification Service to alert friends and family to the registry, sending an email with a direct link to the registry for easy access.
The registry module provides purchase tracking to ensure that buyers only buy quantities determined by the registry creator.
The registry database can provide a great opportunity for data mining to provide targeted promotions for aged items in wish lists to encourage a shopper to complete a purchase.
